LINCOLN, Nebraska - Husker running back Maurice Washington was dismissed from the team.
The University of Nebraska sent out a statement: "The Nebraska football program announced today that running back Maurice Washington has been dismissed from the Husker team. Washington is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal soon."
Washington was suspended from the team on October 20th. Reasons behind the suspension have not been released.
Washington is facing charges in California regarding a video of his former girlfriend. He is accused of sending the video but did not record it and was not in it. He will go to court on that case later this month.
