Omaha-area law enforcement say tips from the public were instrumental in leading to the arrest of a man accused of killing four people in three separate shootings last month.
Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer says tips to Crime Stoppers following the Aug. 21 shooting death of Andrea Kruger proved most helpful in finding Nikko Jenkins.
Jenkins has been arrested on four counts of first-degree murder and nearly a dozen weapons counts. Law enforcement authorities said Wednesday that firearms evidence also ties Jenkins to the killings.
Jenkins is accused of shooting Kruger, as well as Curtis Bradford on August 19th and Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz and Juan Uribe-Pena on August 11th.
