Major changes are on the way for the Girls Inc. facility near 45th and Maple.
Executive director Roberta Wilhelm says $15 million will be spent to build a 55,000 square-foot addition.
"It'll include a gym, a fitness center, a locker room, rooftop gardens, clinic space for health professionals who work with our girls, as well as community members," Wilhelm says.
The current building will be partially renovated.
Ground will be broken next spring. Nearly all of the $15 million has already been raised.
