A pair of high-speed pursuits early Wednesday morning results in one suspect headed to jail... and the other still on the run.
Police tracked a stolen RAV-4 around 4am, bringing in the Omaha police helicopter to keep tabs on the driver as he hit speeds of more than 100 miles an hour.
The pursuit ended when the driver bailed from the vehicle while it was still in motion. He was soon nabbed near 14th and Fort Streets.
About an hour later, police lost track of a burglary suspect near 108th Street and West Maple Road. That pursuit ended near 106th and Parker Streets. He was suspected of breaking into an office in a strip mall.
