The retail competition heats up today in Omaha as two new Target Stores open in the metro area.

Traffic is expected to be heavy in the Crossroads Mall area as well as the Sorensen Park Plaza area for the grand opening this morning of two new Target locations. Retail shoppers will find plenty of merchandise to choose from, beginning at eight o'clock when the newest Target locations open their doors to the public. The two new Target Stores bring the number of Target retail outlets in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area to eight, with twelve Targets now operating statewide.
