Mills county authorities have issued a mandatory evacuation order for residents of Interstate 29 and south of Gaston Avenue to the Fremont County line. Residents in the area are required to evacuate as soon as possible, but no later than 4:00 on Friday.
This is due to the rise of interior ground water east of the Mills County levee system. A number of roads in the area are becoming impassable.

Nebraska Emergency Management Agency Flooding Hotline

The Nebraska Emergency Management Agency has set up a hotline to answer questions about flooding around the state.
You can call 855-211-2453, or 855-211-2454 for information on flooding already occurring and potential flooding expected as water levels increase across Nebraska.
The hotline will operate weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 pm., 7 days a week.
