We get our weekly update from Jeff Beals and Trenton Magid, hosts of Grow Omaha heard Saturday mornings at 8 AMon 1110 KFAB. Among the topics were new tax incentives to renovate historic buildings, , nice recognition for Papillion, and a prime piece of real estate is being eyed by Wal-Mart for a neighborhood grocery, and an interesting public hearing about the future of the privately owned Crossroads Mall.

We also talked to Governor Dave Heineman about the State of the State address, but specifically his call the proposal to eliminate individual and corporate state income taxes, and how the state could replace the revenue by ending $5 billion in sales tax exemptions.
