On Tuesday’s Good Morning Show

Janice Kephart is the National Security Policy Director at the Center for Immigration Studies.  She talks about the Iowa Transportation Department’s decision to issue driver’s licenses to young illegal immigrants who have been allowed by presidential order to stay in the country.  She outlines the many unintended consequences that could occur because of this decision in Iowa and other states. She also discusses the flood of new immigrants crossing into the U.S. since the order was issued last year.

Steve Nelson is the President of the Nebraska Farm Bureau. He says his group has concerns about the Governor’s plan to eliminate the state’s income tax, mainly because it could eliminate some existing ag related sales tax exemptions, without reforming the state’s property tax system at the same time.
