The Better Business Bureau has their semi-annual document shredding event scheduled for Saturday. It's from 8 AM to Noon in the  parking lot at 84th and West Dodge. You can bring up to three sacks or boxes of documents for shredding. Jim Hegarty is President of the Better Business Bureau based in Omaha and also advises consumers to beware of out of town contractors who came into Omaha to repairs roofs and houses damaged in last week's hailstorm.

Gil Torrez is a retired FBI special agent with expert experience in domestic terrorism security. He comments on the ongoing events in Boston as that city is shut down Friday morning after one suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing has been killed and the other is being sought in a massive manhunt.

Tuesday April 16^th is National Healthcare Decisions Day.  It is a day when people are encouraged to make plans for when they can’t make their own health care decisions and other end of life issues. Joni Vallier is operations manager and Stacy Schultz is Community development Director of Hospice of SW Iowa and they spell out some of the terms and actions people need to make.
