Granite Transformations
Granite Transformations is located in Omaha near 118th and Harrison at 6860 South 118th Street, Suite 104. And you can now visit their new showroom in Lincoln, near 70th and Pioneer at 4400 South 70th St. They can be reached at 402-881-8031, or CLICK HERE for their website.
Here's who you'll be working with:
Brian and Nicole Neeson each gave up nice careers in other fields because they realized they had a passion for granite countertops (Hey, it sounds weird to me, too -- but when you want granite countertops, you want them from someone who has a passion for them!). They run Omaha's Granite Transformations with a granite fist!
And this is Penni Aschenbrener, Granite Transformations' design specialist who worked with us on choosing patterns and colors that tied in with the kitchen, adjoining family room, and rest of our house. She had several great ideas and made the process so exciting and fun for my wife and I.
I'm sorry I don't have pictures of Oscar, Mark, and the rest of the professionals who created the template of our countertops and backsplash -- and then came back and did the install -- but they're all very cool and good-looking (like your home will be after Granite Transformations is done with it!).

Enabling dreams for a beautiful and sustainable environmentGranite Transformations cutting edge manufacturing process enables us to produce superior countertops with less raw materials (granite) than our competitors. Thus being a better steward of the environment by reducing our impact on the environment but leaving more granite in the ground and stretching a limited resource. Granite Transformations also utilitizes reclaimed materials including natural stone from solid slab production as well as post consumer recycled glass in our production process. Utilizing your existing surfaces as a base for our products eliminates the demolition process so our installations FAST and divert thousands of tons of countertop debris from being sent to overcrowded landfills every year. Save Our Landfills!!!In addition to the features listed above, our granite is ‘green’. Because Rocksolid Granit leaves substantially more granite in the ground and decreases waste, it is more environmentally friendly than many other countertop products. Granite Transformations utilizes reclaimed materials including natural stone from solid slab production, as well as recycled glass and other products in its countertops. Because this process does not involve demolition of existing counters, construction material is diverted from landfills saving tons of waste each year. Granite Transforming the Bathroom
Saturday 06-02-2012 8:36pm CT
Though Granite Transformations is famous for its "demolition-free remodeling," I wanted them to TEAR APART my master bathroom.
See, a few years ago, I tried to go over all the brass in the bathroom (sinks, shower doors, light fixtures, doorknobs, etc) with a nickel-finish appliance epoxy. [That's a fancy way of saying I spray-painted everything.]
It looked great ... for awhile. Then the shower doors began to flake. Soon, most everything else was a disturbing mix of flaky, silvery, brass.
So Granite Transformations came in, and first re-did the countertops, sinks, and faucets:

Then it was time to tear out the shower and install a new one, complete with new doors and beautiful granite-finish walls.

It just looks amazing! A brand-new bathroom! My friends at Granite Transformations can do the same for you, as well -- call, CLICK, or stop by their showrooms to get some inspiration for what they can do in your kitchen, bathroom, or office!

I've Been Granite Transformed!

The kitchen at Voorhees Villas, August 2009:
Not bad, not bad. A lot of white. Looks clean. Nothing wrong with it ... but, also, there's just nothing about it that says "Wow, nice kitchen!" It has no character. Enter Granite Transformations later that month: The word I keep coming back to is "richness." The pros at Granite Transformations brought richness into my home -- and I didn't have to be rich to get it! These countertops were engineered, fabricated, and mounted over my existing countertops. No heavy construction required (and no heavy construction costs!). My countertops are now scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, stain-resistant, and plain-old-kitchen-resistant! We even went with a silgranit sink: Now, my wife and I are much, much closer to the type of kitchen we've been envious of in others' homes. It's a good thing that Granite Transformations takes care of backsplashes and cabinet refacing, too -- because that's what we're looking at doing next!
Thank you, Granite Transformations, for putting a big smile on my pregnant (at the time) wife's face! (Even Cookie Monster there in the corner is smiling!)
Granite Transformations, Phase II at Voorhees Villas

Our cat, Connell, dutifully guards our empty kitchen in October 2010. Granite Transformations is coming back today, to do something interesting with that boring old, white backsplash. And here's the new backsplash! I think it just makes the appliances look so much better. They stand out now rather than get washed out in the background. In the evening, this darker, deep-brown, patterned backsplash looks really warm and classy. We need to make some friends so we can invite them over for wine in our new kitchen!
Then, they can use the main-level bathroom, which looked like this before:

Granted, it's under construction there. We were wall-patching and painting and putting in a new light fixture (hence the light lying there on the old countertop).
But then Granite Transformations came in and put a new countertop and sink!

Now, filled in with a new faucet and light fixture:

My wife and I are very happy with the new look our home is taking on, and so are our kids!
