An Omaha attorney has been disbarred after voluntarily giving up his license to practice law in Nebraska.

The Nebraska Supreme Court issued the disbarment of Jeremy Shirk on Friday. Shirk filed a voluntary surrender of his law license in January after the state Counsel for Discipline began investigating three grievances filed against him.
The grievances alleged that Shirk neglected the affairs of various clients. Shirk had been reprimanded by the state high court last year for violating his oath of office.
