Four Accused Of Using Omaha Spas For Prostitution

Federal authorities have indicted four people who prosecutors say used spas as fronts for a prostitution operation.

Federal prosecutors say the spas attracted customers from the Omaha area, elsewhere in Nebraska and from other states.

The charges include conspiracy, money laundering and racketeering. The four are 63-year-old William Knox of Omaha,  41-year-old Tammy Schuck of Omaha, 31-year-old Christopher Tierney of Omaha and 22-year-old Tabatha Ashburn of Junction City, Kansas.

The indictment alledges that Knox operated or subleased three spas that were used in the operation.

The indictments resulted from a joint investigation conducted by the Omaha Police Department, the FBI and the Internal Revenue Service.
