His vehicle collided with another one on Highway 34 in south central Nebraska about 2 a.m. Sunday. The patrol says the driver of the other car, a 17-year-old who didn't have a license, has been released from a hospital in Benkelman.
A passenger in the other car, Antonia Valdez, was taken to Good Samaritan as well.
