First lady Michelle Obama spoke at a charity lunch in Omaha on Tuesday afternoon.
About 2,500 people showed up more than an hour early for the annual Girls Inc. Luncheon at the Century Link Center this afternoon.
First Lady Michelle Obama was the featured speaker at Tuesday's annual fundraiser for educational and recreational programs.
Obama says the country simply can't afford to miss out on the potential of even one girl because women play an important role in America. She also told the girls to not be afraid to dream big.
"You can be the first lady if you want to, but there is also the presidency", Obama said. Obama also attended a fundraiser for her husband at the Hilton Hotel.
