(AP) _

An Omaha investment adviser has been sentenced to four years in federal prison for wire fraud.

A news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilgsays 37-year-old Ryan Jindra must serve three years of supervised release after he leaves prison. He also must pay restitution of more than $484,000.

Prosecutors say Jindra misled clients and improperly withdrew money from client accounts while operating his company, Envision Financial Group.

Prosecutors say the fraudulent activity occurred over a year's time, beginning in July 2008.
