Two Omaha boys have been hurt after walking into traffic in separate incidents in Omaha, and a babysitter for one child has been killed in a crash en route to the hospital.

Police say an 11-year-old boy ran into a street about noon Saturday and was hit by an SUV. The child, who was under the sitter's care, was taken to a hospital with a concussion and abrasions to his face.

Police say the boy's mother picked up the babysitter and three children and headed to the hospital but crashed on the way. The babysitter, identified as 27-year-old Delaine Harris, was killed.

In the other incident, police say a 5-year-old boy suffered a broken leg, rib and clavicle when he was hit after going into the street after his ball.
