A murder trial is about to begin for a former tenant of a slain Omaha landlord.
Jury selection is expected to begin Monday for 29-year-old Monique Lee. She is accused of strangling 48-year-old Karen Jenkins with a vacuum cord in October 2010.
Lee's brother, Gary Lee, has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for luring Jenkins. Gary Lee had posed as a prospective renter.
Jenkins' body was found near an abandoned house.
