(AP) _

Authorities say a 19-year-old Lincoln man suspected of being drunk when his motorboat hit a sailboat on a southeast Nebraska lake has a record of drunken driving in a motor vehicle.  Court records say Kyle Garrett was given nine months of probation in November after pleading no contest to misdemeanor DUI.

He was fined a total of $700 for the DUI and marijuana possession.  At least seven people were treated after the boats collided Friday night on Branched Oak Lake west of Raymond.

A 19-year-old passenger in the motorboat, Dylan Colton, also is suspected of being a minor in possession of alcohol. Public phone listings for Garrett and Colton could not be found. Garrett's lawyer didn't return a call Monday. Colton's lawyer says he can't immediately comment on the allegation.
