The Douglas County Attorney says they'll file for a new trial ASAP.

(AP) _

A mistrial has been declared in the murder case against an Omaha woman accused of strangling her former landlord.

The judge made the ruling Wednesday after learning learned that the attorney for defendant Monique Lee had not been provided some records from Lee's evaluation at a state psychiatric hospital. The trial had begun with jury selection on April 30.

Lee is accused of using a vacuum cleaner cord to kill Karen Jenkins in October 2010. Lee's brother Gary has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for luring Jenkins. Gary Lee had posed as a prospective renter.

Jenkins' body was found near an abandoned house.

A new trial date has not been set.
