Tom Schlender of Raymond was shot and killed in his car last week beside a Mississippi interstate.
An arrest has been made in northern Mississippi in connection with two roadside murders, including that of a Raymond, Nebraska man.
James Willie of Sardis, Mississippi is expected to be charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of Tom Schlender of Raymond, and a Mississippi woman.
Warren Strain is with the Mississippi State Patrol, and says Willie had a handgun on him when he was arrested. "We sent that as well as some other evidence thru the state crime lab, and the weapon came back as a positive to both the homicides," Strain said.
Willie was arrested Tuesday in an unrelated case. Officials say he was NOT posing as a law officer, as originally thought.
