A former Borders book store in northwest Omaha that closed last year when the chain went bankrupt has been sold.
Agree Realty says it sold the 30,000-square-foot retail building near 132nd and Maple streets for $2.75 million.
Agree did not identify the buyer of the building.
At one time, Borders was a giant in the bookselling industry, but it failed to keep up with the shift of book sales to the Internet and other challenges.
