Stepdad Murder Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

Michael Williams is accused of shooting Michele Pomfret last month in Bellevue.

The man accused of fatally shooting his stepdaughter in the face entered a not guilty plea in Sarpy County Court Monday morning.

Michael Williams is charged with first degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony. He's accused of shooting 21-year-old Michala Pomfret at a Bellevue apartment last month. She died of her injuries April 13.

Williams will be held without bond until his trial, set for September.
