The boy had been reported missing late last night when he didn't return from fishing in Sand Creek.
Authorities have discovered the body of an 11-year-old boy reported missing after he didn't return home from fishing north of Wahoo.
Saunders County authorities say the boy's mother called 911 about 11 p.m. Tuesday. He'd gone out by himself around 5 p.m.
Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz says searchers resumed their hunt this morning. Stukenholtz says the boy likely went fishing in Sand Creek, a tributary for Lake Wanahoo.
The boy's name hasn't been released.
