The former Gretna city administrator is now accused of inflating city reimbursment for college expenses.

(AP) _

Another felony theft charge has been filed against Gretna's former city administrator.

Sarpy County Attorney Lee Polikov said Colleen Lawry had received excess reimbursement of her tuition costs from the city while she was working on a master's at Bellevue University. Polikov says she paid back the $3,200 but only after she was asked.

A misdemeanor charge of official misconduct also was added to the charges against Lawry. She was fired in May after she was charged with felony theft and accused of excessive spending.

Lawry is accused of taking about $800 from the Gretna Senior Citizens Center, which was part of a $1,000 donation. The state auditor also issued a report criticizing Lawry's spending and the city's poor financial controls.

Lawry and her attorney have declined to comment.
