Three semis were involved in the crash early this morning on Highway 30 near Silver Creek, Nebraska
An early morning crash involving three semi trailer trucks has claimed two lives and closed a portion of U.S. Highway 30 near Silver Creek.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the crash occurred just after 1:30 a.m. when a westbound semi crossed the centerline clipping an eastbound semi. The westbound semi then struck a second eastbound semi head-on. The two trucks then burst into flames.
Two of the drivers were killed. The driver of the semi that was clipped was not injured. The names of the two men killed in the crash are not being released pending notification of family.
