An Omaha woman has been taken to a hospital after a vehicle crashed through her bedroom.
Investigators say the sport utility vehicle ran completely through the house early Friday morning. The woman, who had been asleep in her bedroom, ended up with broken bones in the backyard. She was taken to Creighton University Medical Center.
Police say the SUV driver was heading home from a bar and speeding down a street when he lost control of the SUV. It hit six parked cars and then a curb before going airborne into the house. Police say he faces several charges.
The names of those involved have not been released.
