A driver phoned 911 about 3am, reporting his vehicle was filling up fast.
Some scary moments for a driver near 36th and I Street Monday morning, as a huge water main break led to flooding in the area, as much as three feet deep in some spots.
A driver called 9-1-1 around 3am, saying his vehicle was swamped... and filling up fast. When police got there, they found water several feet high heading down 36th Street.
Channel 6 News reported that neighboring company Nebraska Beef was forced to move cattle out of the area, in keeping with federal regulations.
At last check, MUD had stopped the flow of water, but repairs in the area are expected to take all day.
