The 14 week operation in Omaha targeted more than 300 people involved in drugs, gangs and violent crime
Omaha Police say the effort was called Operation Triple Beam and involved more than 50 officers from the U.S. Marshals Service Metro Fugitive Task Force and the Omaha Police Gang Unit.
In addition to the arrests, law officers took 31 firearms, more than $17,000 in illegal drugs and more than $7,000 cash.
Two of the men arrested in the operation were Anthony Davis and Timothy Britt. They were wanted for the murder of an Omaha man and his two teenage sons earlier this month.
Interim Omaha Police Chief Dave Baker says many those arrested were gang members or had ties to gangs.
