A tragic accident at Lake Manawa State Park claims the life of a seasonal worker.
An autopsy has been ordered on the body of a man who was trapped under a mower after it rolled into a western Iowa lake.
Authorities identified the man as 78-year-old Bruce Jensen, of Treynor.
The accident occurred about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Manawa State Park in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs Police Lt. Mark Galvan tells 1110 KFAB Jensen was a seasonal employee for the DNR and mowed grass around the lake parking lots.
Galvan says the man apparentely got to close to the edge and the tractor rolled down a steep embankment and on top of the man. Galvan says Jensen ended up in the water and appears to have drowned
