Omaha police say 50 year old John Doyle of Bellevue is facing numerous charges
OPolice say on Tuesday evening officers conducted a traffic stop near 34th and Lafayette Street and found the driver to be driving under suspension with no proof of ownership for the vehicle.
Officers then found a 9mm handgun inside the vehicle. That handgun was found to be stolen. The search also turned up a sawed off and defaced .410 shotgun along with several grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Doyle was booked for possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a short shotgun, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm while distributing a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, driving under suspension, no valid registration and fictitious plates.
