Freddie Gray is accused of casting improper votes

The Douglas County Republican Party today filed a six page ethics complaint with the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commision.

They claim Gray voted dozens of times to approve more than $65-thousand in school district funds for organizations that her husband, City Councilman Ben Gray, was involved in.

Ben Gray was on the board of directors of the United Way of The Midlands, Girls Inc. and Impact One.  Those votes came between 2008 and 2010, before Gray was the board president.  Republican Party officials say these are obvious cases of conflicts of interest.

The complaint also alledges that Gray voted to reimburse herself $250.
