A Nebraska man has been given 25 years in an Iowa prison for robbery-related shootings in Council Bluffs.
23-year-old Antwan Wright, of Omaha, Neb., was sentenced on Wednesday.
After making a deal with prosecutors in July, Wright pleaded guilty to robbery after several charges were dropped.
Prosecutors say Wright shot 32-year-old James Kirk, of Council Bluffs, in an arm on March 29 last year. A few hours later he shot 53-year-old Ignacio Iniguez, of Omaha, while Iniguez was sitting in a car on West Broadway in Council Bluffs. Police say Wright shot Iniguez in the face and stole the car.
