Shots Fired Call Prompts Schools Lockdown

Three Bellevue schools were placed in lockdown on the first day of classes

Bellevue Public School's spokesperson Amanda Anderson tells 1110 KFAB the shots fired call came from the Rising View housing area.  During the investigation Peter Sarpy, LeMay, and Fort Crook schools went into lockdown

Investigators determined it was fireworks that caused the commotion. Anderson says students were not allowed outside for two hours. No one was hurt.

A note was sent home him with students.
