An Omaha man is nipped by a bat at his home overnight.
An Omaha man is nursing a bat bite today.
Shortly after midnight Thursday, he was closing a window at his home near 76th and Meredith when he was bitten and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The bat was captured and taken in for rabies testing. Nebraska Humane Society officials say one in every 300 bats is rabid.
