Two armed men rob a convenience store late Friday night.

Police responded to a robbery call at the Kum & Go at 111th and Emmet Street at 11:00 pm Friday.  The clerk told officers that two black men wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts showed a gun and demanded cash.

The two men took an undetermined amount of cash and fled the area in an older large sedan.

Just before 9 pm Friday night an alarm sent officers to the Family Dollar at 29th and Sprague.  Employees told officers that a black male in his 20’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt had walked in and demanded money.  The suspect was unable to open the cash register and left empty handed.
