Two armed men rob a convenience store late Friday night.
Police responded to a robbery call at the Kum & Go at 111th and Emmet Street at 11:00 pm Friday. The clerk told officers that two black men wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts showed a gun and demanded cash.
The two men took an undetermined amount of cash and fled the area in an older large sedan.
Just before 9 pm Friday night an alarm sent officers to the Family Dollar at 29th and Sprague. Employees told officers that a black male in his 20’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt had walked in and demanded money. The suspect was unable to open the cash register and left empty handed.
