The family of Charlie Dowd wants your help in searching for their dad this afternoon.
Charlie Dowd is missing. And his family thinks he might be in Omaha.
The retired firefighter disappeared from an Amtrak train enroute to Chicago. His daughter Jennifer Dowd says he last checked Thursday evening. "He was telling us that he was just outside of Denver," she said.
Jennifer says her dad's luggage, cellphone and medication all made it to Chicago. He didn't, but Amtrak police told her he may have been spotted looking at a train schedule to Omaha, so he could be here... and he could be disoriented.
The Dowd family is asking for your help in searching for their father. Jennifer says they'll search the area around the Amtrak station this afternoon at 3pm.
The station is located at 1003 South 9th Street.
