Omaha Police are trying to determine if the hold ups are related
Omaha police say the four businesses were robbed over an eight hour period beginning at 9:20 Wednesday night at the Taco Bell on 42nd Street near I-80. The culprit showed a gun and grabbed the money.
Two hours later two men held up the Anderson Food Shops on south 140th Street. Both were armed with guns and took money and cigarettes.
Police then responded to the Speedee Mart at 132nd and Grover at 2:20 Thursday morning where a lone gunman came in, demanded money and then fled.
The fourth hold up happened around 5:00 a.m. at the Village Inn on north 72nd Street. Police say the man was armed with a gun when he came through a back door. He demanded money from the safe and then fled from the restaurant.
Police are trying to determine if the robberies are connected.
