Suspect surrendered just after midnight Tuesday.

A standoff with officers has ended peacefully in Bellevue.

Authorities say Sarpy County deputies were dispatched about 10:20 p.m. Monday after a woman reported that she'd smelled gasoline when she arrived home and that her husband threatened to burn down the house.

Officers evacuated neighbors and a bomb squad was called in.

Authorities talked to the man and eventually persuaded him to surrender a little after midnight.
