Cox Communications' business phone service is down today in a widespread outage.
Several area Cox business customers are without telephone service this afternoon.
1110 KFAB received this statement from Cox about the business phone outage:
- Cox Business continues to work on the phone service outage that’s impacting some of our business customers. This outage does not impact residential customers,” stated Gail Graeve, Director of Public Affairs, “ Our technical support teams are working diligently to restore service as soon as possible. We will share more information once available. We sincerely apologize.”
Cox did not give us a timeline as to when service would be restored or what caused the outage.
