Omaha Boater Charged With Manslaughter

Sean Salisbury could get 20 years behind bars for a boating accident that killed a friend.

An Omaha man faces manslaughter charges after a boating accident in July near Fremont.

Saunders County investigators say Sean Salisbury realized he was too close to the dock while tubing at Woodcliff Lakes and swerved suddenly, sending the tube and Mickayla Linn into a boat that was on a lift. She later died at Fremont Medical Center.

Salisbury faces up to 20 years in jail on the manslaughter charge. He has a court date for arraignment on November 13th.
