Morning fog prevented a medical helicopter from landing at an accident scene this morning.
Around 3 Saturday morning the driver of a pick up lost control on a curve on West Dodge Road near Waterloo. The driver was thrown when the pick up rolled. Rescue crews called for a medical helicopter but it could not land due to the fog.
The driver, a man in his late 20's, was transported to a hospital on West Dodge. The medical helicopter was waiting and he was then taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.
The man's name has not been released.
