Two men have been arrested in the slaying of a 16-year-old boy and wounding of a 16-year-old girl in Omaha.
Joshua Vanackeren and Matthew Saunsoci were arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and a weapons violation.
The shootings occurred in northeast Omaha shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The two men were arrested later in the day.
Police say Montrell Wiseman died at the scene and that Desjuha Wilkinson was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Vanackeren and Saunsoci are being held in Douglas County Jail.
