Omaha Woman Pleads No Contest In Deadly Crash

69 year old Leslie "Cookie" Hoberman entered her plea Thursday morning

Hoberman, an Omaha philanthropist, plead no contest on Thursday morning to a misdemeanor charge of motor vehicle homicide for causing a deadly crash last may near 157th and Pacific.

Police say Hoberman failed to yield the right of way and struck a motorcycle . 45 year old Jeffrey Ahl died as a result of the injuries suffered in the accident.

Hoberman is known for her involvement in "The Winner's Circle," a motivational program for disadvantaged school children. She will be sentenced on January 24th.
