William Dawson and his wife Jeanne are accused of child abuse
Court records say the Dawson's placed a child in a situation to be sexually abused and with being accessories to a felony, because they tried to hinder an investigation.
A 16 year old girl says she was sexually assaulted several years ago by a man who now 21.
An investigator says the two say the Dawson's knew about the sexual abuse and encouraged them to lie about what happened. Officer Dawson is on paid administrative leave.
