The blaze began around 4:30am at 16th and Izard.
One person is dead this after a fire at the old abandoned Mac's Tavern on the corner of 16th and Izard Streets.
The fire started about 4:30am Tuesday. It took firefighters over two hours to contain the blaze because of gusty winds.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
