Police say a homeowner confronted the 24 year old culprit
Omaha police say around 9:00 Tuesday night the suspect went into the victim's garage and home near 84th and Pacific where he was confronted.
A foot pursuit with officers ensued and Brandon Johnson was found a few blocks away. Police say Johnson ignored commands to show his hands and a K9 was sent in to apprehend him.
Johnson was treated at a hospital and released. Police say Johnson arrived at the house in a stolen car.
He was booked on several charges, including burglary, theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and tresspassing.
