The 14 acre site near 50th and Ames Avenue will serve at risk 5-8 grade boys

Over the next 16 months, 14 acres of land will be turned into an after school center for at-risk boys who live within seven minutes of the site.

NorthStar Foundation President Scott Hazelrigg says their goal is to improve graduation rates for youngsters who live within seven minutes of the campus.

The $10 million facility will include classroom space and a soccer/football field.  The land is being leased by the Omaha Home For Boys.
