Tanesha Beard was sentenced Tuesday to concurrent five to 10 year terms for arson and assault.
(A-P)
Beard earlier pleaded no contest to the charges, which stemmed from a March fire at a Omaha home near 137th and Atwood.
Beard was arrested after surveillance video showed her buying a gasoline container and gas. She then set the fire, which severly burned Jermaine Westbrook, who had been sleeping.
Initially, Beard's 10 and 12 year old children were originally arrested for arson. Beard finally admitted she was the one who set the fire.
