Get Ready To Shell Out More For Water And Gas

Increases in gas and water rates are included in the utility's $405M budget.

The Metropolitan Utilities District board has approved a $405-million budget for 2013. It contains increases for water and natural gas. On average, the annual bill would go up about 13 dollars for water and 15 bucks for gas. The two increases expected to generate $9-point-5 million in annual revenue.
