Michael Sebesta was sentenced to 12-20 years in prison on Tuesday
28 year old Michael Sebesta will have to serve at least eight years before he is eligible for parole.
He had pleaded guilty in September to manslaughter and two weapons charges after prosecutors dropped a charge of second-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Sebesta shot 26-year-old Philip Burden in the head on January 28 after the two got into a fight about money Sebesta owed Burden for drugs. Burden died the next day.
Sebesta was arrested at an Omaha motel four weeks after the shooting and avoided capture by wearing wigs.
